OMG !!!

OMG !!! I cannot believe its April 1st already. I have no idea how time flies ???? Don't you realized that I only posted one thing last month. WTF ??? What was I thinking??? I had to whip my butt and get started on my blog. I apologized for not getting back to you and keep you in the loop with my "running" life.

I have terrific new for you to share with.... I think this is going to make your day. I have received a call from a representative who have read my blog. He has explained to me that his company is starting up a new company that is in the process of manufacturing top of the line running shoes. At first, I'd thought he was giving me all kind of BS over the phone. First of all, I have no clue to how he got my phone number. This kind of freak me out. In order for him to prove to me of his legality, he emailed me the pictures of the first five new running shoes that will be out in the public this July 1, 2009. I was kind of reluctant to look into it. However, he has convinced me to put this up on my blog. The first 20 to respond my blog will get a new running kicks and have to write up a review on your own blog before it goes public on July 1st. The first twenty responder will receive $5oo signing bonus. Your review will be published in the running magazine in June. I know this is hard to pass up. Under one condition, I cannot release the name of the new running company and the product. I was sold so I did signed the clause not to reveal the name. Once you respond to my post, I will need your email address so I can have the representative ship you the running shoes plus the $500 check. You have every right to like it or hate it. No obligation. Good Luck!

Now, I am here to give you "bullet-style" update about my running and myself...

  • I have signed up for Asbury Park Half Marathon for April 18th. Psst... Flyers26, Progman2000, ShoreTurtle.. hint hint !!! (and for anyone out there who lives near NJ, sign up!!!)
  • I cannot believe Vermont Marathon is next month already.
  • I have no training for the Vermont Marathon since I am maintaining my low mileage running schedule. I have no goal other than to complete the run. If it's four or five hours, so be it. I just want to have fun.
  • I had the opportunity to run with a new blogger, BommaMama, last March 15th. Read the post.
  • I need to catch up with other bloggers.
  • Many THANKS to Ms. Running Down a Dream and 2nd Chances for on-going support.
  • My beautiful princess, Erin, turned 8 yesterday. I cannot believe she is growing up so fast.
  • My beautiful angel, Sarah, is making nice progress. She had a small ear infection last week and now on different antibiotic. I've been on the edge this week but she seemed to be fine. I am a firm believer that your prayer is working well.
  • Now, it's time for me to crank up my mileage in order to get ready for Vermont Marathon.
  • Hope all of you are doing well and cannot wait to read your updates.
Now, this is how I am going to prepare for my run just like this for Vermont Marathon.

Now this is so cruel of me. Speaking of the new running kicks by a new upstart running company and $500 dollars signing bonus is not for real.

I am seriously thinking about the Asbury Park HM - if I do it I am doing it as a MP run, not racing it since it's 2 weeks before the NJM.

If I sign up to run it you are officially committed to the Asbury Park Marathon Relay in October - just sayin'.

Spooky company mailing $500 to e-mail addresses sounded tricky.

Ha you got us Ted. Good one - very elaborate build-up for a prank!!

I HAD AN AWESOME TIME running with you last month. When is our big April training run?? Would you consider doing the NJRRC Marathon training run on Easter Sunday (4/12)?

So glad to hear your daughter is feeling better. Maybe I'll sign up for that run in Asbury Park you mentioned.

Talk to you soon!
