Look at the Bright Side/ Book Tour
How are all of you handling the heat wave so far? You might say .... "Ted.. WTF are you talking about?? What HEAT WAVE?". Me sorry for being so sarcastic! Look at the bright side...
Look at the bright side..... only 65 more days to go! Feeling better??? Actually, we have 3/4 quarter left of winter *groaning* Two more months to go !!! Now, I feel better!
The good new is that my book is on the move again. Allow me to recap.... I am loaning the book called "50/50" by Dean Karnazes. He wrote a book about his experience in running 50 marathons in 50 days. The book is heading to a place where it is a little bit warmer. My book was kind of frozen for awhile up in the Great White North. The book is heading to McKinney, Texas which is about a half hour north of Dallas, Texas. Sonia of Solo Running Chick has mailed the book to #6 - Katie of One Step at a Time. This is the longest trip for the book. Enjoy the book, Katie.

I hope Katie can chisel the ice off of the book when it gets to her.
I'm in no hurry to get to spring. This time of year is why all of us in the desert brave the 110 degree summers.
What a journey! And 50 marathons in 50 days? Please tell me he gave up after day 1, right?!
Heat wave, yeah funny guy... I just came back from a run in -34°C/-29F It was interesting.... ;-)
Thanks for the book! I really enjoyed it! Glad it's taking a break from the cold and going to the sunny Texas state!
You stay warm too, Ted! No more half-naked running, okay? :)
Whooo hooo! Can't wait to get it! And yes, today is beautiful and sunny in ol' Texas. I hope it packed it's Cowboy boots! ;-)
Boy is that book going to have some stories to tell when it gets back to you. If you want Illinois in the list add me. I'd love to read it.
That's the delusional spirit Ted. Spring time is around the corner. WOOOO!
The journey continues...fly lil' bookie.
Spring can't come soon enough.
I'm trying to look on the bright side with this weather. It's hard . . .
The book has been making the rounds very nicely ;-)
awesome journey!
What a great story this is.
Come on Ted, it's not cold at all!!
It's all in your imagination dude!!!
Great job on the book!!!
The high here tomorrow is to be -4. I don't even want to know what the wind chill is to be.
Oh, I'm perectly comfortable here in FL. These are the best months of the year! By the time spring rolls around, it's hot and humid here!
O, great. A book that's a better runner than me.
Know what's good for staying warm in the cold?
Beer.
Know what's good for cooling down when it's hot?
Beer.
Know what's good?
Beer.
In conclusion:
Beer.
Thank you.
Hi Ted
I love your positivity!~ It has been one hellishly cold winter, but on the other hand I am thinking about maybe the polar caps aren't melting quite as much this year? OK, I know its a stretch and not even close to the truth, but it does give me a positive side to things.
Best of luck, man!
I'm trying to stay warm in the 11 degree temps right now. it's getting brutal out there!
What a fun way to spread the 50/50 love. Stay warm!
Maybe the book should swing by the Inauguration on its way to Texas and pick up some bailout running dough.
Cool idea the journey of the book.
I'm sick of winter, but I'm conflicted because I love running in the cold weather.
I love watching the book travel!
man that book gets around!
Whoo hoo, the book finally arrived!! So happy to start it -- maybe I'll give it a nap tonight so it can start fresh tomorrow :-)
